Hi! Welcome to IHM Calling! My name is Sister Mary Bea, Vocation/Formation Director for the IHM Sisters of Monroe, Michigan. By the way, IHM is short for Sisters, Servants of the Immaculate Heart of Mary. I started this blog months ago to connect with women searching on the web for help in discerning a call to religious life. This call is awesome in the true meaning of that word, and I feel totally blessed to be walking with women at various stages of their discernment from wondering to inquiring to applying and entering into religious life. Please stop in every once in a while and let me know what you wonder about.

I love the blog! Your passion comes out clearly in your writing and I hope there are young women out there who will be moved to comment and inquire about what the ihms are about.
